How the life of a Christian is one of repentance can be difficult to understand. The Lord's Prayer, however, demonstrates that this is so, for why would we pray for things such as the coming of the kingdom of God and the doing of the will of God--as we are instructed to pray in that prayer by Jesus Himself--if we are already in that kingdom and are doing that will?
